Well, I'm feeling more or less settled after the move, and I realized it's been several weeks since I got a challenge up at
hobbit_ficathon. So it's about time!
The challenge that I posted is to incorporate these three elements -- a block of wood, a fishing pole, and a cat -- into a story, pre, during or post-quest. Have fun!

A little book meme to end the day:
1. Grab the nearest book.
2. Open the book to page 123.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the text of the next 3 sentences on your blog along with these instructions.
5. Don't you dare dig for that "cool" or "intellectual" book in your closet! I know you were thinking about it! Just pick up whatever is closest.
"My goodness, Allison," laughed Miss Thornton. "You are off in a dream world. Norman's asked you to dance with him twice, and you haven't even answered him."
