They say it's your birthday...

I had a lovely birthday, today.

One of the ladies at work made a brownie cake and the kids sang Happy Birthday. We have three tables that we use at meal times at work and we usually let the kids eat as soon as all the children who sit at their table are present, but this morning the kids at my table insisted on waiting until the whole room was seated so they could sing. They were all very cute.

My two co-teachers also gave me a nice little card and gift - I was surprised when I opened the card because it was a thank you instead of birthday card, thanking me for the work I did on the portfolio. It made me a little teary.

I feel terribly guilty that so many of you remembered my birthday when I'm so terrible at remembering other people's, but I loved all the greetings, anyway.

wishkey, thank you for the virtual cupcake and presents. Lj is failing at giving notification about such things, so I only just found them by happenstance. *hugs you*

After work, I ordered food from Fuel & Fuddle, and had a very nice evening at home watching Roswell season 3 dvds.

Now I'm going to stir myself to do a little tidying up before bed. Because I'm so very, very tired.

Unbirthdays always deserve to be celebrated. They can be a lot more fun than birthdays, too. :)
