I did really well with my diet this week. I was under 1300 calories every day except Wednesday (1400, so still within my preferred range). I allowed myself a blowout today. I shouldn't have since I'll probably be eating higher calorie stuff while on vacation (it is vacation, after all, and I have no desire to spend it all hungry). So I ordered a salmon burger and sweet potato fries for supper. I only ate the meat off the burger, but it was an extra thick patty and salmon packs a punch, calorie-wise. And then I let myself eat a big brownie that I got at work yesterday, even though I was already over my limit. Again, much like last time I had a blowout, I think it came out around 1700. I feel completely stuffed. Let the vacation begin!

Both salmon and sweet potatoes are actually pretty good for you, though, so even though they are higher in calories, they are better for you than a regular hamburger or fries. Besides, what's vacation without a little splurging?

I hope you have fun!

It sounds like an appropriate vacation eve meal! Hope you and LP have a great time!

I've had no good experiences with salmon burgers. I tried one earlier this summer and it was a big disappointment. I've never heard of sweet potato fries though. It sounds... I don't know. Sweet and fried? Hm...

Vacation is good though! Mine ends tomorrow, sadly.

My first experiences with Weight Watchers included the requirement that you eat fish 5 times a week. I find that when I eat more fish I lose more even now. Someone else recently mentioned this to me. So I think the Salmon burger was not a bad choice. Also I SP Fries so it sounds like a good meal to me. Any veggies?
Have a good time on va-ca.
