Day Four

1. The raw spot on the back of my foot, where all the shoes I've tried to wear this summer have bitten me, did not get re-opened today. So no excruciating pain as I walked home from work.

2. I only have to physically be at work for eight hours a day, even if I do have to put in several hours of work related activities at home as well, sometimes.

3. Cats, food and a roof over my head.

Have you tried those little gel insert thingies for the back of your foot? Canvas shoes and the like always rubbed me raw and I just couldn't wear them long enough to get them to stop doing it but I bought a bunch of the ones that are made for the back bit of the shoe and they're a godsend - no blisters, even from new shoes. :)

Good for you for making the effort! Some days being positive is more difficult than others.

Y'know, a rubbed heel may seem minor, but it can definitely make walking miserable - glad yours seems to have healed!

I'm always thankful for cats too.
