All that and a pickle too!

I'm on a roll this week. I've got the first session of each of my classes under my belt, and aside from way too much reading, they all look really interesting, and I'm pretty excited about some of the projects we're doing this semester.

I've got all my readings done for Thursday's class, which means I can do Comics night tomorrow, guilt free. Won't be buying any comics, but I'll hang for dinner. *grins*

Got my laundry done tonight and even folded it/put it away. I make a crappy girl, cuz I almost never get that far with laundry, but I did today.

Speaking of being a girl - I wore one of my new skirts today. I felt like a totally different person - it was fun. Some technical difficulties still to be worked out, but I survived the day and garnered enough confidence to wear the skirts more often. Which is a good thing because I got a look at my jeans while doing the laundry. The seat on those puppies is gonna give out at any time and then I really will be in trouble.

I've found a potential gym buddy and I'm checking out the facilities at Bellefield on Thursday - mainly scoping to see if there are day lockers available and if not, if there are any lockers still available to rent for the semester. I've decided I just have time on Mon - Tues morning to get a decent workout in before my nine o'clock class. If the gym has decent equipment.

On the pouty side - I meant to watch House tonight and I thought it was on at nine. I guess I was wrong because at nine, it clearly wasn't on. If it's on at eight normally, I probably won't be able to watch it, because I can't play until I've got all my work done. *is sad*

All this = happy me!

It better be on at nine, that's when I set my vcr! That's when Directv said it was on. Anyway, if my tape is good, um, I have a copy. (otherwise, you can try checking out [livejournal.com profile] houseepisodes)

Well, apparently I just missed it on the three or four passes I made through the channels. I really shouldn't start adding to the shows I need to watch, anyway, so it's probably just as well.

Hey, good for you! Guess I'm a crappy girl, too, because the laundry I did over the weekend is still in the dryer and I just take things out as I need them. Guess that's just mounting evidence for what already was pretty well established.

so, what's the bit about the pickle?

Oh, the pickle is meaningless. Just an indication that I was talking about bunches of different stuff.

Mr P is a girl and I'm not apparently.why in the world would one waste time folding clothes and putting them "away" and then have to waste more time getting them out again to put on? So inefficient!

My sentiments exactly. Mr. P and Mr. D can be girls together, while we boys go outside and play!

Have fun playing and when you're done, us girls will be right here, waiting to wash and fold your laundry. :D

That's the philosophy I go with most of the time, but then the cats sit on the clean laundry and track kitty litter and massive amounts of fur on it, so that I just have to rewash it all anyway. I think it's probably better (and will save me lots of quarters) to just fold it all and get it promptly put away.
