I just can't get enough

I've actually managed to do normal, weekend housekeeping things today. Went grocery shopping at the Giant Eagle instead of RiteAid for the first time in a couple of months (don't ask how I've been living, you don't want to know), bought a roll of quarters and I'm steadily making my way through the back log of laundry, got all the dishes washed, tidied up and weeded out the giant pile of papers that had taken over the living room floor. There's still a lot of work to do before the apartment is actually clean, but it's so much better already and I feel like I can actually breathe in here again.

Spring started really early this year and then was put on hold for the better part of a month while cold and wind and winter made a last, futile effort to maintain their hold. That hold has been broken for good now (I think) and all the spring activities are resuming. Flowers everywhere, bees buzzing, trees blooming and budding and putting forth fresh, green leaves. The sky is bright blue and it's warm. My windows are wide open which means Thor's in seventh heaven - there's nothing he likes more than sleeping in a sunny window ledge.

I'm in a fantastically good mood. Somewhere along the line I have to remember to work on this week's presentations, but at the moment I'm not too worried about them. I'm more interested in getting my hot little hands on this week's episode of Doctor Who.

What about the Market District one between Aiken and Negley? It's the closest one to me and kind of rocks my world. :) (The 64A stops pretty close to it.)

Cool! That was just opening when I left Pittsburgh. So it's a good one?

That one would require two buses to get to, which is way more effort than I usually expend on food, considering the only reason I ever make to the Rite Aid even, is that it's right at the bus stop where I catch the bus home after work. I may have to check it out sometime though. Possibly when I'm heading out of Oakland I could take a detour that way. :)
