(no subject)

So here I am, hanging out at [livejournal.com profile] eve11's casa, doing costuming stuff. We made the negative molds for the cat faces (there was a bit of concern that the positive and negative molds would fuse together permanently, resulting in a solid, ten pound brick perfect for holding doors open but not so much for making masks with - this turned out to be fruitless worrying on our parts as the two parts separated with only a small amount of prying). Now we've got the latex setting up in the negative molds and we're trying to figure out how the heck those nuns got their hats to look like that.

So talented you two are! After looking at the pictures I think I finally grasp just why you don't want to make a dog-face mask to go over the cat-face mask to go over the your-own-face mask! That would be way too much work!

It would make me cry to even think about the logistics of making a mask to go over the mask, lol.
