foooooood

The problem with going somewhere else for a major feast is the lack of leftovers. I could really go for a turkey sandwich right now, with all the sides and extras. Mmm nom nom nom. Instead, I'll probably have a cheese sandwich, and an apple if I have any left. I'll have to make sure to bring leftovers home with me after Christmas.

yesh, we'll have to plan on making plenty so we can all have some.

Speaking of, I have one bag of frozen cranberries I can do something with and bring along.

We should decide what/how much food we want to make, so we have a plan going in.

I put all my leftover turkey into the freezer as soon as I took it off the bone. It wasn't that I thought I wouldn't want leftovers, but because there were too many quart yogurt containers filled with ice/ice water to squeeze the leftovers into the fridge. So, I had lentil soup last night and probably will again this evening.

I too think it might be nice to have a turkey sandwich but alas none is available. I don't generally want turkey but it has sounded like a good idea since before the holiday. I even bought a can of cranberry incase I got leftovers to bring home. LOL

I almost never want turkey deli slices, but real turkey is another matter altogether. I LOVE Thanksgiving dinner sandwiches. A little turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, some cranberry relish, all mashed together between a couple slices of bread. Mmmm.
