Hurry up and wait

Vacation!

It's a short one. Two travel days (despite the marvels of modern transportation, it will still take a full day each way to get where I'm going, but I'm not driving for 14 hrs, so that's okay) and three play days in the mountains. But I'm getting out of Pgh, seeing friends and family, and did I mention playing in the mountains? Yay!

My last nagging concern was that five days was a really long time to leave the cats unsupervised in a heat wave, but eve11 is coming over a couple times to make sure they have plenty of food/water and are not dying of heat prostration. So now I really have nothing left to worry about other than the travel itself.

That sounds like fun. I'm supposed to arrive in Phila at 12:45 and leave at 3:00 so that should leave plenty of time to meet up. :)
