What the jacket looked like with sleeves:

With the sleeves on I can't move my arms and without them it looks slightly unbalanced. So I'm trying another solution.

Movement is still a bit limited, but there's only so much I can do about that. As far as I can tell, it's the design. Aimed at leisurely Countesses who never have to lift their arms, perhaps. This gives me a little more freedom and I can continue to fiddle with it as much as I want until DragonCon, if I manage to get everything else done.

Up next: gaiters.

It looks great though! The bias tape looks fabulous!

Until I got the bias tape on, I didn't realize how much the coat needed the extra oomph!

When I had trouble with my blouse's range of motion I let out the side seams in the sleeves to give it some more range... If you have some room in the seams you could give it a try? Ah but I see the jacket's lined; so it might be a pain :(

Thanks. At some point before the Con, I do need to go back and take another look at the sleeves on this thing, but I've put it on the back burner for now, to go crazy obsessing over other things, lol.
