In other news, I spent the weekend watching The Gates. Most ridiculously god-awful show ever, I can see why it didn't get renewed after the first thirteen episodes. But it was bad in ways that were hilarious to watch. Sort of Harry Potter meets Twilight meets Desperate Housewives. Where the housewives are all vampires and werewolves and succubi. Plots need not make any sense so long as everyone involved is very pretty and someone spills a bit of blood along the way. Despite its awfulness, I kind of wish I could see where the writers were going with the cliff-hanger ending.

And here it is already, the end of the weekend. Saturday and Sunday pass by so quickly and the rest of the week just drags and lingers. Bah!

It is pretty awesome, isn't it?

Lots of good information on Daleks. Very helpful. : )

Weekends do go far too quickly. There should be a rule against that.

I particularly liked the part where Davros dealt with the stair-climbing issue about 200 years after he died, lol.

There should probably also be a rule about staying up way too late watching stupid movies, but then I'd just break it all the time anyway. *sigh*

The Gates is yet another show I've never heard of, and it does sound awful. But I'm glad it allowed you to have some weekend fun!

I particularly loved how all the hot young werewolf boys would strip their shirts off before turning wolf, but they never took their pants off. What happened to their pants? Did the pants transmogrify with them, while the shirts wouldn't? Did the producers ever even think to notice the incongruity of it all? I'm guessing no.

Ditto!

It sounds like inspite of being bad the show did provide you some entertainment. I often wonder about things like the pants and the shirts when watching tv and movies. They don't seem to ever fix it.

There does seem to be an alarming amount of carelessness in things like that on tv and in movies.
