Halloween

I put on my princess hat and castle to give out candy tonight. All two bags of candy that I bought, which took care of six or seven groups of kids (maybe a tenth of the kids that hit my street in the forty-five minutes I was open for business). One adorable little girl, maybe five or six years old and wearing rainbow fairy wings, stepped onto the porch, looked at my hat in awe and told me "you look beautiful!"

I got some excited squeals from the girls at work because of the princess hat, but they were all much more excited by the drawbridge. "Do it again! Do it again! Do it again!"
