Prioritizing, I'm sure this is something I can do.

The skirt is mostly done, although I didn't do a hem on the bottom (still mulling over options for making it longer). Still to do: bodice, coat, back and top of the head sculpt. I think I'll need another trip to Joann's before I can complete either the coat or the bodice, and I'm making the mold for the headpiece this week, so I guess that tells me what I need to do next. Still, I feel like I want to split myself in three and work on everything at once. And I haven't even had any coffee to make me this crazy!

Today's productivity has been in the spending money realm rather than the making things realm, sadly. I walked into Oakland (3.67 miles for today). I stopped at Radio Shack in Squirrel Hill to bite the bullet and buy a new camera. I now have a Canon Powershot A2500. The zoom is barely more than the old camera, but I jumped from 7.1 to 16 megapixels so I expect to see some improvement in the pictures I take.

Then it was on the rest of the way to Oakland, where I went to the art store and bought water-based clay as well as a variety of other tools that should help with the painting and the rest of the process. Luckily I decided to take a bus home because no sooner did I get in than the sky grew black and a lively thunderstorm blew up. It was bucketing down for a while and most of the courtyard is a bit flooded. Thank goodness I don't have to take Shadow out in this weather!

Now I really need to get some 'making things' productivity going. It's already late afternoon on Tuesday. How did so much time pass with so little done?
