Today's productivity has been in the spending money realm rather than the making things realm, sadly. I walked into Oakland (3.67 miles for today). I stopped at Radio Shack in Squirrel Hill to bite the bullet and buy a new camera. I now have a Canon Powershot A2500. The zoom is barely more than the old camera, but I jumped from 7.1 to 16 megapixels so I expect to see some improvement in the pictures I take.

Then it was on the rest of the way to Oakland, where I went to the art store and bought water-based clay as well as a variety of other tools that should help with the painting and the rest of the process. Luckily I decided to take a bus home because no sooner did I get in than the sky grew black and a lively thunderstorm blew up. It was bucketing down for a while and most of the courtyard is a bit flooded. Thank goodness I don't have to take Shadow out in this weather!

Now I really need to get some 'making things' productivity going. It's already late afternoon on Tuesday. How did so much time pass with so little done?

Time has a way of passing like that, when you're not paying attention and then wham! You have 2 weeks to finish everything.

Keep that camera attached to your person at all times at D*C. I had one of mine stolen there a few years back. (Evil Willow year I believe).

Trips to get supplies always take a disproportionate amount of time. Congrats on the camera and art supplies. And on not getting caught in the storm!

Trips to get supplies are extra time-consuming when I'm walking to and/or fro. But exercise is also important. And I will keep reminding myself of this as often as I must.

BTW. I went through the button collections at the shop today and picked out some that I think are grey although that is sometimes a little hard to tell. I will get them in the mail tomorrow. I hope that there is something there that works.

Well, I didn't get them in the mail yesterday but will do so this afternoon after my PT appointment.
PS. I hope one set of them will work. Also, don't ask why I sent more than 3 of a kind. Just seemed like if I found that many in the bin they should stay reunited for a while at least. There is no accounting for how my mind works.
