And the dreaming continues. Last night I was a fugitive, or at least, my friends and I were planning to start running (from what crime I haven't the foggiest), but we ran into a snag when a new teacher rolled into town (yes, I often dream that I'm still in school). He was a cross between Lockhart from Harry Potter, and the Tommy Lee Jones character from Fugitive. Bad news for our plans, as he set off right away by randomly picking us (the three of us who were planning on becoming fugitives)to use as examples of how easy it would be to find people on the lam. Then he passed out our new textbooks, written by him of course. We were all excited to see the new books, but they were, oddly enough, all covered in old crumbling mud.

Then we were on the run, trying to use the books as roadmarkers to help us avoid capture. There was a lot of other stuff in the middle which has gone all vague, but then we were in the forest, with our books out. Interestingly enough, our books were small, very life-like reproductions of some creature's internal organs, and we were trying to figure out where to go by interpreting the patterns made by the developing lungs and other stuff.

It's probably not good to ask why I thought this was a fun dream, lol.

Oh my! You do have a vivid imagination, don't you? It's smart of you to put the dreams down like this so you've got them if you ever want to go back and interpret them. I really oughtta start doing that myself. It might help to pick up on the subliminal clues. Forewarned is forearmed and all that stuff.

Kiddo, you've got to start listening to meditation music at bedtime. Much less entertaining for us in LJ land, but way more restful for you. After all these pursuit dreams, you must be waking up exhausted! Of course, if you already are listening to meditation music at bedtime, maybe you should pick a different tape.

Sounds like you're stuck in the same wacky dreamland that I go to every night. Hope you can find your way out soon! And if you do find a way out--let me know how! lol

So how's the new barista working out?

I kept a dream journal at one time, but then it got too hard to wake up and write everything down before getting ready for school or work and it gradually died away. This is starting to become a bit of a replacement though. Oh well, if people don't want to know about my dreams, they don't need to read it. :)

See, the thing you don't understand is that I enjoy my dreams. They're a lot of fun. I get to do all sorts of things that I will never do in real life, and if things get out of hand, I always wake up. They are only very rarely scary or terribly unpleasant.

The new barista seems to be working out very well. I supervised him last night and he's a good, hard worker. He's pretty much learned all the drinks but it still takes him a long time to make the coffees, which is fair enough; they're not really all that easy and it still takes me forever to make some of those drinks, lol.

As for the dreams, I'm actually enjoying them a lot. I get very disappointed when I slip into a phase where I'm not remembering my dreams. All that action and adventure! I'm a bit of an adrenaline junkie, and getting my fix through adventurous dreams is much better than doing it in the real world. :)

Gives you a place to put them, and discuss them if you want. That's kind of cool, in and of itself.
