Yeah, I'm sure you're all shocked that the LotR was the closest book. I had it out to do a little research yesterday and failed to put it away.
This book was equidistant, so I'm posting it also. Though a long time had passed, the memories of his treatment at the hands of the Zelbinion's sadistic Captain Durka were very much alive. This comes from the Farscape Role Playing Game handbook.
And finally, because I just love to cheat at these games, I have books piled everywhere so no single one is closest, and because I just can't pick only one, this is from the book I'm actually reading currently. His face grew hot at his tongue's fumbling. from "The Eye of the World" by Robert Jordan. Now, pick your minds up out of the gutter, people, the poor lad was stuttering, that's all.
Alright, I'll be good now, and limit myself to three, although there are at least half a dozen more books sitting within reach. I really should clear off my desk one of these days.
In other news, The Fellowship of the Ring is on tonight. Well, the first half, anyway. I may watch it just because it's been a long while since I've seen the theatrical version. On the other hand, I could just throw in my DVD and see it the way it's meant to be seen. Commercial free, added and extended scenes, be up till midnight. Choices, choices!
ETA: Some day I will learn to preview before I post, then I won't have to go back and edit, twice. *smacks self in forehead* Any more mistakes can just stay in!
