Did you run today?
Jun. 4th, 2005 11:53 amAll of a sudden it's got hot up here. I don't know how it happened, but there it is.
I went for a run with my sister and her dog, Shadow (Sunny isn't allowed to run because of the degenerative joint disease she has) but we encountered a stray dog on the footbridge near the house, and Shadow had to return home, so I made most of the run myself. Turns out, it was a little too hot already (and I probably shouldn't have eaten first), so it wasn't much fun, but I did it anyway.
On Monday we're going to start getting up early and going out around 6 for our run. Partly to beat the heat and partly because P is starting her summer job on Monday and will have to get up early for work. One of these days, I'm going to have a job too, and that will be a good thing. It is too easy to get bored when I don't have work to fill up a good six or eight hours a day.
