It's Friday! And what a lovely, sunny Friday it is. In a little bit,

lyda_pearl and I are going to hit the road. We're driving down to Boston for the weekend, to see Oasis. Should be fun!

And by the way,

lyda_pearl has taken to lj like a duck to water. I do believe she's hooked. It's so much fun to bring people over to the dark side. *eg*

I've started posting various fics to ff.net, just for the heck of it. Even having seen

budgielover's post about how confusing it was, and the help she was given, I still had trouble figuring out how to get a new story posted there. Nothing like a simple format to make things easier, lol.
Anyway, I've posted 'Crossing Bridges' which I wrote for

marigoldg's Talechallenge 14 and 'A Leap in the Dark' which was written for Challenge 13. They can both be found here.

And finally, it being Friday, I've posted a new challenge at

hobbit_ficathon. This week the challenge is to write about one or more hobbits searching for his/her place or role in their world.
