Drawing things out...

In my family, for Christmas, we do an exchange. Each of us gets one name of someone in the family to buy for. This year, the person buying for me was my oldest neice, who is fourteen. I got my present from her yesterday, so I guess that means Christmas is officially over now.

She was very sweet and apologetic about it being so late, and her gifts were nice. She got me the Zoolander DVD (her favorite movie) and James Blunt - Back to Bedlam, which includes 'You're Beautiful' (her favorite song). I know it was hard for her; we live three thousand miles apart and don't know each other well, but she did good. I love that girl to pieces!
