Party time

So lyda_pearl threw me an early birthday party yesterday. In attendance were LP, whtmtnwmn and two other women from the tech college, J and S. It was a small gathering, but everyone was in good form, especially S, who kept us all entertained with her Mae West impersonation (she's another one in the murder mystery play). Keeping with the murder mystery theme, we had a mystery jigsaw puzzle to work on which kept us all highly entertained all evening, even those who don't really *do* jigsaw puzzles. Basically because, with S along, everything becomes a double entendre and pretty soon we were laughing so hard we could barely read the mystery story that comes with the puzzle. By the time the story announced that someone's droopy was pinging on the screen, we were gone. We ended the evening with pumpkin pie (my personal favorite dessert) and a yankee swap/chinese auction. In true hobbit style, everyone who attended received a present. It was a lovely evening.
