Take that, flab!
Mar. 18th, 2009 09:39 amToday was an off-schedule gym day. All rested up because I've already started bailing on my plan to run after work, so I was in fine form. Remember last week when I was whining about how I ran three miles but the whole thing was so hard and when would it ever get easier? Well, today I ran four miles and felt good the whole time. I was tired by the end, of course, but not 'omg why is this so hard' tired. It was kind of awesome, really. And I feel great, now. This was the kind of run that makes me keep running even with the days where I can barely do a mile, or I spend the whole run feeling like I've got lead weights on my legs. If I can have days like this once in a while, it's totally worth it.
