Sep. 4th, 2009 12:54 pmI took Tookie to the vet yesterday and they were very sympathetic and compassionate. So she is now resting peacefully. Thank you so much to everyone who offered condolences and good thoughts. *hugs you all*

Sep. 4th, 2009 04:11 pmWe made rather incredible time on the drive down, and got in at a little after nine a.m. In and out of registration by 11:30 and on to having fun.
I ramp up to fannish things a little slowly, so even though I was very excited, it was a couple of hours before I started embracing the atmosphere and geeking out over costumes, etc. Today is mostly just for relaxing, finishing up costume details and people watching. We're going to do a zombie walk this evening, though and then maybe go to the Zombie Prom, depending on how we feel (i.e. how exhausted we are).
