I took a couple weeks off the gym, for one reason or another, and now the downside of Fall is kicking in. It is DARK out there this morning.

Oh, Penguins

First pre-season game of the year, and the Pens are sucking big time. They're down 3-0 to the Columbus Blue Jackets, with one more period to go. Lots of fighting, perhaps three 5 minute major penalties so far, between the two teams. Two of the Blue Jackets' goals were on the PP. Pens better at least get on the board. I'm unimpressed, so far, with the prospects they've got playing tonight.

Update: There we go. Crosby just scored twice, both times off a feed from Tangradi. Keep it up, boys.

Update 2: And now the score is tied. Way to go, Pens!

Update 3: Now it gets exciting. In the last two minutes, Columbus scored and then the Pens tied it up. It's going to overtime.

Update 4: And the Pens end the game a minute into overtime, winning 5-4. It turned into quite an exciting game, and reminded me that I should never count the Pens out, just cuz they're down 3-0.

Yay for hockey!
