Man, I keep forgetting that this season the Pens actually know how to win tight games. I was doubtful tonight. If this was last year's team, chances are probably more than fair that they'd have lost this game in the third. Tonight, Fleury stood up, the Pens dug down, found a few extra goals and won the game, 5-2 against the Buffalo Sabres. Twelve consecutive wins for the Pens and eleven for Fleury.

Oh yeah, and Crosby managed, despite having a kind of so-so night (for him at any rate) to get an assist on the Goligoski goal. That gives him at least one point in his last 18 games. One more to tie his personal best streak.

Even when they're not at their best, they're finding ways to get the job done. Go Pens!
