Feb. 8th, 2011 08:25 pmThe Penguins are missing almost all of their top offensive talent and they're showing it. The Pens are down 2-0 part way through the second. This is, by the way, the fourth game in a row that started this way. They got shut out in Washington on Sunday. It would be really nice if they could at least score a goal at some point here.
At this point, we have a lot of our minor league talent up with the big club so it's good experience for them and a chance for all of us to see what they can do, but unless someone discovers a heretofore unsuspected scoring touch, we're probably not going to win a lot of games until we start getting people back. Too bad, because the Pens were having a heck of a season up till now. (Disclaimer: I'm a cup half empty sort of person, so it may not be as bad as it seems, but this is how I see it).
