A cold, unendingly wet spring has catapulted straight into baking hot summer. If you need to find me, I'll be carving out a little niche for myself in the fridge.

computery people, I need some advice.

I accidentally downloaded something called ilivid download manager yesterday. And then today my computer started running very slowly and a mysterious new toolbar called searchqu appeared. yuck. A google search revealed that it's a nasty malware thing that comes bundled with stuff. I got rid of the ilivid thing and that seems to have also taken care of the searchqu thing, but I also seem to have accidentally uninstalled an accelerometer. Did I need that? It appears to have been installed at the time my computer was built and I'm not sure how to get it back, since I don't have a system restore point to go back to. Ugh, I hate computers some days.

I've got disc 1, season 1 of Castle cued up on the dvd player, a bunch of fic prompts on Word, and a mug o'coffee. I'm ready to roll!
