Omg! A win!
Apr. 20th, 2012 10:59 pmCame home from work with a headache and debated going out to watch the game, but decided to go for it. So glad I did, despite the fact that now my head is throbbing fit to kill.
It was a tight, close nailbiter of a game. My heart was pounding and my hands shaking the last thirty minutes, while the Pens clung to a one goal lead. Good Fleury was back in the second and third periods, though, and made some huge saves to keep his team up. (I would like to think we've seen the last of Bad Fleury, but I'm not that naive.)
Final score: Pens 3, Flyers 2. We're heading back to Philly for game six on Sunday. Go Pens!
