If we survive the end of the world, we might get winter!

In theory, we could get up to several inches of snow between the early hours of tomorrow morning and Saturday evening. This could be an interesting test of how walkable the sidewalks are on my route to work. I'm honestly a little nervous about some parts of my walk. There are some fairly steep downhill sections, especially heading home, that have the potential to be quite treacherous, and to make things worse, a few of those sections are very poorly lit, so I won't be able to tell if I'm stepping into a wet spot or slick ice.

On the other hand, if we do get a bit of snow, it will help it feel a bit more like Christmas. Some white stuff floating through the air or sticking to the ground would go a long way to helping me get over my Bah Humbug attitude, I suspect.
