(no subject)
May. 5th, 2013 10:13 pmI find myself in the sad and awkward position of almost being ready to break up with Livejournal. I can post stuff with little to no trouble, but I can almost never get my comments and replies to comments to go through. So, to the people who've commented on my blog in the past little while but never got a response from me, I apologize. I got tired of fighting with LJ and just stopped trying. I think I'll try to rev up my DW account and see if I can actually get anything going over there. If I can remember my password. Typically, every time I go over there I have to reset it and I never remember what I set it to. Ever.
But in the meantime, thoughts on today's Penguins Playoff game of disastrousness, which they somehow managed to win in spite of themselves. This was originally meant to be a comment on
eve11's journal, but lj hates me, so I'll just post it here.
I think the entire Penguins fandom is completely on edge because of the ridiculousness of last year's playoff debacle. Unfortunatley, I suspect last year's playoffs are in the Pens' heads as much as ours and it's themselves more than the Islanders that they have to fight in order to get out of this series alive.
I was cautiously optimistic at the beginning of this game, and despite the tumbles and ugliness, I'm still cautiously optimistic. Because lets face it - the Islanders are playing so far over their heads, the Pens are sucking, and they're still up 2-1 in the series. If they can just right themselves, they still have every chance of getting two more wins and moving on.
So says I. *nods emphatically*
While I'm here, I'll also mention that I watched Doctor Who yesterday and enjoyed it greatly. I'm a bit 'meh' about this season and Eleven in general, but this was a fun one.
