I'm tired today. I went out last night, saw two very good bands - Neon Swing X-perience and Nightly Standard. I liked the swing band very much and hope to see them again. The other band (rock/pop/soul) was fun but nothing to make me want to see them again. I didn't even get home all that late, around 1:15 or 1:30 but considering that I started flagging shortly after eleven, I was pretty much dead by time I got home.
This morning I followed the US - Finland game. The US choke was very disappointing, mainly because I hate to think what it means for US/Penguins Head Coach Dan Bylsma, whose team does pretty much the same thing every year in the playoffs. On the other hand, I'm very excited for Ollie Maata who wins the Bronze on his first Olympic outing at the age of 19. This kid is something exciting to watch and I'm looking forward to seeing where his career takes him. We're lucky he's in Pittsburgh and we get to watch him grow every night.
