Feb. 20th, 2015 11:09 pmDone yesterday:
*emptied and reloaded the dishwasher
*sorted through mail
*took out trash
Done tonight:
*Cleaned kitchen counters
*Swept kitchen floor
*Scrubbed stove top
*vacuumed carpets
*swept most of the floors in living room, hall and kitchen, including under/behind furniture
*washed down walls where needed
First thing tomorrow:
*clean bathroom sink/counter/toilet
*Sweep bathroom
*scoop cat boxes
*tidy bedroom
*put away clean laundry/tuck dirty laundry away somewhere
*take trash out to dumpster
Things to do if there's time:
*finish putting away various small christmas items that are lurking about (I didn't do much decorating and what I did was mostly small things that escaped my notice when it was time to put things away)
*Tidy away all the coats, scarves, bags, blankets, throw pillows, etc that have accumulated all over the living room furniture
Ah yes, it's that time. Since I'm not renewing the lease, the landlords are showing the apartment (five and a half months before I'm moving out - hopefully someone takes it quickly so I don't have people coming over every weekend at random intervals). They sent me an email yesterday that they'll be showing the place any time between 10am and 6pm tomorrow. Which means I don't get to sleep in, which is my very favorite thing to do on Saturday.
We're also expecting another winter storm tomorrow, which puts a bit of a damper on things. 4-8 inches, ending with 'freezing drizzle' by evening. Sounds delightful. But I absolutely must get out to the grocery store, regardless, because I haven't had food in the house in weeks and it's getting pretty desperate. Hopefully the buses will be running normally despite the snow.
