I suspect Tookie has reached that "Grand Dame" part of her life where she feels she can say and do as she likes. or, maybe, from her POV, you have a new home that is ALL upstairs, so the whole thing is her domain. Gotta be a boost in her self confidence.
Or maybe she and thor have a tiny PC in the back of the closet, and she was keeping an eye on the Comcast guy while Thor monitored the screen? Can you just picture it?
