I feel slightly better about myself now, or at least a little less pathetic. I forced myself to go out and take a walk along the Frick Park trails. I should have taken my camera, as it really is a pretty day, but luckily, other people have taken pictures and kindly posted them on the web. This one looks to be from a section I walked today.

None of the trail sections are more than a mile or a mile and a half in length, with most of them being a lot shorter than that, but considering how ridiculously out of shape I'm in, that's not a bad thing. Today I walked for about fifty minutes (including the time to and from the park) and I'm feeling kind of shaky now, but that might have something to do with the fact that I haven't actually eaten anything today, other than a few cookies about six hours ago. I suppose I should make some effort to eat something substantial for supper. I'm having a serious craving for Fuel & Fuddle's meatloaf sandwich, which means Wheel Deliver tonight.

I feel much better now about the idea of settling in for another fic reading marathon. *grins*

Fuel & Fuddle! What a great name.

Fuel & Fuddle is an interesting place. Their menu items all have weird names like Hangover Helper (soup of the day) or Grilled Psychedelic (grilled portobello mushroom). The food is hit or miss, but the meatloaf sandwich is really good, with really yummy fries. Mmmmm....

There's a trailhead only a couple blocks from my apartment, which was one of the big selling points for moving back here. You'd think with the trails being that close, I'd be out there every day.

Alas, there is no Fuel and Fuddle or anything anywhere near that cool anywhere near me! I think I'm stuck with Lean Cuisine tonight!

We have no really cool and quirky resturants here, there are some on a little island just to the south of us...
