Oh, the weather outside is frightful...

auntiemeeshI've reluctantly given up on plans to go out to the party tonight. Between the driving rain, increasingly frequent gusts of wind, and expected dropping of temps, it just seems like an evening that is better spent basking in the warm blue glow of my laptop than venturing out. It's disappointing, but instead, I'll order in a pizza and spend another lazy evening watching Christmas movies.
Last night Elf was on, which I hadn't seen before. Very entertaining, in the spastic sort of ridiculous way most movies are, these days. I fail to understand why we were expected to buy that Buddy would behave like a poorly socialized four year old, just because he'd been raised by elfs (all of whom behaved like normal adults). But putting that aside, it was a fun thing to watch. Hopefully there will be something equally entertaining on tonight.
