Title: Geeks in Paradise
Fandom: Chuck
Rating: PG-13 for some usage of the f-bomb
Word count: 327
Spoilers: I don't think so, set pre-series
Prompt: [livejournal.com profile] natacup82 asked for Chuck, Bryce, Dragon*Con
A/N: I'm a little fuzzy on the canon timeline of when past events happened, so this may be set in the wrong year. But. I'm putting this as their last year of school, before it all went to hell for Chuck. And because I'm not entirely clear which year that would be, this is, in my mind 2002, but it could probably work as 2001 just as well.

Geeks in Paradise

This…this was fucking insane. Chuck had never realized exactly how sheltered his life had been, up until now. Now, right here, this moment. He and Bryce were in the lobby of the Hyatt, waiting for an elevator up to their room. Had been waiting for an elevator for the past ten or fifteen minutes at least, and had seen:

1. a girl in pasties, fig leaf and wings
2. Slave!Leia #1
3. A huge guy wearing fishnet stockings, corset, spiked collar and oh yes, don’t forget, leash, the other end of which was held by a tiny woman with no hair.
4. Slave!Leia #2 and 3
5. Wait, was that? Dude, that was Richard Hatch!
6. Um, not really sure what that was, but it had tentacles.
7. Three Stormtroopers
8. A phalanx of elves and Aragorn
9. Pimp!Vader
10. Elvis Stormtrooper
11. Olgethorpe and Emery
12. A cardboard Chewbacca
13. Slave!Leia #4-6
14. Leash!Guy #2, this time being led by another guy, both in kilts and little else.
15. Buffy, Angel and Spike
17. Scooby Doo
18. Three men and two women in matching pseudo-military uniforms
19. Lara fucking Croft

Okay, his upstairs brain maybe went offline for a bit after that, but he wasn’t drooling, no matter what Bryce said.

When the elevator finally came, they made a valiant attempt to force their way through the other (approximately) fifteen thousand people wanting to get on, and managed, through excessive use of luggage cart as offensive weapon, to secure themselves a tiny little corner. They were sharing their elevator with a man and a woman in black leather outfits that looked far too hot for Atlanta in the summer, a couple of vampires, an older couple who looked entirely disturbed by their elevator companions, and someone in a pilot’s outfit. Could be a pilot, could be a costume, impossible to say for sure. Oh, yeah. This was gonna be the best weekend ever.
