The Babysitters Club

auntiemeeshI had babysitting tonight. A family with three kids (sixth grade boy, second grade girl, kindergarten boy). I've known these kids for many years, but it's been a while since I've babysat, and the last few times I've seen the youngest at school, he's refused to even look at me, let alone speak to me. Given that, I wasn't sure how he was going to respond to me being his babysitter tonight.
Must say, I was very pleasantly surprised. Youngest greeted me at the door with giggles and a fast game of hide and seek, and the second-grader was very sweet as well. We had a lot of fun. I was really quite pleased.
Now I am exhausted. It's been a long week full of early mornings and interrupted sleep. Thank goodness tomorrow is Friday.
