Work sucks, no? I have to make my trek, too. But TOMORROW: VACATION, OUT OF TOWN, FANTASY CON!!!!! So excited! It's a small con (Chattanooga), but only a couple hours' drive away and I plan to pop in the Fellowship score when I hit the road and before I can finish King I'll be there! I plan to do some falcon watching, which is a passion of mine. The pair of peregrine falcons at Chickamauga Dam are already displaying courtship behavior and I can't wait to set up and just watch and learn. And then I'm going to hang with fantasy writers all weekend. Larry Niven is Writer GoH, David Cherry Artist GoH. It's always a fun weekend, close to home and while not as glitzy as DragonCon, much less stressful, much more laid back. I look forward to it every year. :-)
