Such a frustrating game! Pitt trailed Villanova by just a few points almost the entire game, and even up to the last seconds it seemed like they might be able to pull it off, but twice in those last seconds fouled and gave Villanova free shots. Down by two with 0.5 seconds on the clock, they still tried, and it would have been a beautiful thing if Fields had made that basket from two-thirds of the way down the court, but it didn't happen. So frustrating!

I also watched some of the ice skating. Enough to see Kim Yu-Na's fabulous performance. I love women's figure skating. I just wish I ever knew it was on earlier than half-way through the broadcast.

Managed to watch an uncorrupted version of Dollhouse (and let me tell you how irritated I was by our Fox affiliate last night for totally failing to fix their technical difficulties). I'm loving this show more and more with each episode. I want to know more about the relationship between Caroline and Ms. DeWitt, why Echo/Caroline is so special to her. I've been less thrilled with Mellie. Either her programing was inconsistent or her scripting was. I didn't really buy the whole switch from semi-stalker to girlfriend, even before she was outed as a Doll. But it was nice to see a Doll that wasn't a perfect size zero. I hope she comes back.

I had babysitting tonight. A repeat family, 5yr old boy, almost 1yr old girl. And let me tell you, that girl is adorable, but I would never be able to sleep if I was her mom. I put her down in her crib and made sure there were no blankets or toys near her face. A little while later I went in to check on her (baby monitors do not reassure me) and she had completely flipped around to the other end of the crib and buried her face in a pile of blankets. So, I moved the blankets away from her face, she immediately rolled over and face-planted in them again. I moved them again, and for a third time she found the blankets with her face. I finally just gave up and let her sleep how she wanted. But I was popping into her room to check that she was still breathing so often it's a wonder she didn't wake up. And the baby monitor, totally useless. I had it turned up so loud I could hear the ticking of her clock louder than the tv, still couldn't hear her breathing. Probably a good think I'm not a mom. I'd be so overprotective of my kids it would be unreal.

Tomorrow there is more babysitting and then Monday it's back to work. Where does the weekend go, I ask you?
