Things not going to plan

auntiemeeshNo word yet from Dell about my new hard drive, so I can only assume it hasn't shipped yet, which means I won't get it until next week. I'm a little worried, because I usually receive an email from Dell after any conversation with them, especially when I placed an order, but I haven't received anything from them this time. Did my order even get placed? I tried calling them, but got disconnected, possibly because the work phone system is set up to discourage people from spending long amounts of time on hold, and I won't get home until late tonight, so won't be able to call again anytime soon. Grr!
To top things off, my brother who was coming out this weekend to visit and bring me a new cat, may have the flu. He's checking with his doctor to make sure it isn't just a sinus infection, but if he's got the flu, he rightfully won't be traveling. Which sucks for him, and also for me, since then I won't have a computer or visitors or a new cat. Hopefully I can come up with a new plan for the weekend that doesn't involve me sitting in front of my tv for 48 hrs.
