Omg, that was an intense game!

Last year at this time, the Pens were playing the Flyers. They went to game six after failing to put the Flyers away in game five. The Flyers came out on fire and went up 3-0. The Pens rallied after a fun fight by Max Talbot and Daniel Carcillo, scoring 5 unanswered goals to win 5-3.

In game five last Thursday, the Pens gave up the first two goals, rallied, went to triple overtime before losing. Once again failing to finish the series in game five at home. Back to Ottawa today for game six. The Pens went down 3-0, sparking conversations about last year's come back. I have to admit, I almost gave up on the game, since I really didn't think it would be possible for them to turn this game around. Luckily for me, I didn't. By the end of the second period, the Pens had indeed rallied, scored three unanswered goals to tie the game and send it into overtime for a second game in a row. Not exactly the definitive answer they gave the Flyers last year, but it was enough. Ten minutes into the overtime period, Pascal Dupuis wristed one past the Senators' goalie to earn the game winning goal.

The Pens won the series and move on to the second round!
