This evening was pretty much a bust. I had a little headache heading into the Sylvester McCoy panel and by the time I came out an hour later I had a raging out of control headache. Walking through the ninety degree heat back to our hotel and then standing in a crowd of people all hoping to cram onto tiny, crowded elevators finished me off. When we finally made it back to the room, I had to change into pjs, take advil and go to bed. Five hours later, I'm somewhat functional but I still have a rotten headache, too miserable to go back out and have any sort of mingling-with-people type of fun. Too bad, because the day was going well and I had high hopes of being able to make it out to the Doctor Who dinner.

I'm sorry to hear that your headache ruined your evening. I hope you have enough fun today to make up for it. Stay hydrated! (Dehydration gives me headaches, so I'm wondering if that is par tof what happened to you.)

It kinda sorta went away for the rest of the weekend. It went away enough for me to have fun, even though it was (and still is) hanging around at the edges.

Thanks. A good night's sleep and a solid breakfast the next day mostly took care of it. I suspect the headache may be due to the weather we're having, since it's still lingering around the edges a bit.

I made an effort to drink a lot of water all weekend. I think it was the stress of being a very anti-social person trying to have fun in massive crowds of people, compounded by the weather.

Thanks. By Sunday I was feeling mostly better and I'm hoping that once this weather clears up, so will the last lingering traces of the headache.

Hard to tell, really. The Doctor Who people seemed to like it at least, which was good.
