auntiemeeshWow, the last month and a half has really beat me up. I slept almost 12 hours last night, only waking once to give the cats their breakfast before passing out again.

eve11. Our seats were high up but almost directly behind home plate. What a fabulous view of the game and the city!
I foolishly thought it would be a good idea to have an adult beverage, despite being completely exhausted and borderline dehydrated (half a cup of coffee as the only drink all day). Three sips in to my Hard Cider I was already nauseated by the sweetness. I ducked out to buy a bottle of water and made it back just in time to see the Pirates score their first run of the evening. It was a good game, resulting in a win despite a shaky start by Morton (who seems to think it's mandatory to give up a couple runs in the first inning).
Today has been super lazy. Crawled out of bed a little before noon and I'm now just hanging out, watching the Penguins rookie tournament game with the Ottowa Senators. At the first intermission, the Pens are up 1-0. Go Pens!
