There is a wall of fog over the river this morning. Well, to be accurate the fog is everywhere, but I can see down to the river reasonably well and then visibility just stops and there is a wall of white. It's the heaviest fog I've seen in a long time.

I have a job interview this morning. Just a part-time assistant position at the child care center at the tech college but I'm keeping my fingers crossed nonetheless. At least it would be a job and there are sure to be full-time positions opening up eventually.

I love the fog, so atmospheric and time-travelly! When I was a kid I had a book called Fog Magic about a girl who went back in time 200 years when she walked down to the ruins of an old town on foggy days. I loved that book! and used to take long walks in the fog by myself, but it never happened to me - oh well, magic doesn't happen the same way to everyone, but I thought it was a lovely idea.

I remember that book. I read it too, when I was probably about fourteen, reading it even though I felt I was too old for it, really. I still loved it.
