auntiemeeshI was offered the daycare job today. Thank goodness. I only spoke to the secretary, so I called and left a message on the director's voice mail, because I forgot to tell them in the interview that I would be out of town from Aug 30-Sept 8. This is a college daycare and it's only open fall and spring terms, so I only start Aug 19, and I think classes start Sept 2, which means most of the kids probably start Sept 2 as well. Not the best timing, but I'm hoping it's not going to be a deal breaker.
But I've got a job! And I've realized that I really have missed working with little kids these past couple of months, so it will be good to get back to that, even though I thought I would be done with it forever. Apparently it's one of those things that once it's in your blood, it's there forever. I just love playing with the little squirts. :D
