I finally had an interview at the coffeehouse. For the most part it was very encouraging. I get the sense that I'm at the top of the list, but apparently business has slacked off a little bit since the first rush of opening and now they are trying to make sure they can actually afford to hire someone else.

I think they'll eventually get around to hiring someone, I'm just hoping it's sooner rather than later.

Is the weather hot where you are. I imagine business will be quite slow for a coffee house in hot weather. Maybe when it gets cooler.

It has been very hot this week, although it's finally cooling off. The coffeehouse serves pretty much every drink as an iced drink as well as a hot one, though, so I don't know how much that affects sales. That could be an explanation though. :D

Well, at least they finally interviewed you! That's a good start. Did they say when they'd make their decision?

I have a feeling they don't do anything in a rush. Look how long it took them to get around to interviewing people. That interview, by the way, was hilarious. It's pretty clear they have no idea what they are and are *not* allowed to ask people, lol. Lyda Pearl was in the background and occasionally interjected "you're not allowed to ask people that, just so ya know." It was pretty funny.
