Alone at last!

lyda_pearl and Mr. P have gone off to a family reunion, leaving me to watch the girls while they're gone. They'll be gone for a week to ten days (their schedule is rather loose at the moment), so I have the house to myself for awhile.

Now, more than ever, I really hope to get that job at the coffee house, because I'm going to go crazy here by myself for that long, if I don't at least have a job to go to. On the plus side, I'm going to go see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory on Saturday with whtmtnwmn and we'll also hopefully be able to take the dogs out for a few hikes in the next week or so.

I got my tape from eve11 today, so I can finally watch last week's Sci Fi Friday. Thanks for sending that along! :D

There is a sidewalk sale going on here this week, and one of the churches does a big book sale every year. I went yesterday with Lyda Pearl and we picked up a whole bag of books. At the moment I'm reading "Bored of the Rings", by National Lampoon. Very, very funny.

I'm not doing anything tonight, if its cool enough that you'd want to take one (or both) of the girls out for a walk. Ben would love it!

I'm pretty comfortable driving to Milan. Where did you have in mind? And any time is good for me, so I'll let you decide that -- my non-existent schedule is pretty flexible. :D

Yup. Plenty of room to practice my stiltwalking. And possibly also some welding tools available to make custom modifications as needed.
