The plan for this evening was to sew, sew, sew, so that I could get my Chiana vest done. I've run into a little snag with that plan, however. I've run out of thread. I have gone through an entire spool of thread with the quilting and all. *sigh* Oh well, I was planning to go to the fabric store tomorrow anyway, that's just one more thing to add to the list.

And, pipspebble, you'll be pleased to hear this, it leaves my evening free. Which means I can use the time to work on that broken leg fic and see if I can't get chapter one back to you for another round of betaing. :D

Wish I could loan you one of my many spools of thread I have laying around. Oh well--it's good that you have fic to work on. Sounds intriguing.

Yeah, if only I had actually worked on the fic. I seem to have some sort of block with this one. I've been wanting to write it for at least six months, but I just don't seem to get very far with it, lol.

I am working on it (sort of) but I'm having some trouble figuring out how to move forward from your previous beta, while still maintaining the feel that I want it to have. I'm sewing right now - I'm really hoping to get the Chiana vest to bed tonight, but then I'll work on the fic more before *I* go to bed. With a little luck I'll be able to get it to you tomorrow.

Hope you noticed you were out of thread before you sewed a seam (I hate it when you've run out of bobbin thread in the middle of a long seam that you thought was actually finished).

Luckily, the bobbin always seems to run out at fairly convenient places, so far. :D
