I'm home!

Wow, what a weekend! Dragon*Con was an incredible experience. I'm too tired tonight to think coherently about my adventures but I'll be posting more in the next few days. I even managed to take a few photos of the costumes although I don't know how any of them will turn out. I should get my pictures back by the end of the week so hopefully I'll have them to share before too long.

I was very happy to see that dreamflower02 has been heard from and that she, marigold's mom, and coneygoil are all safe! There's been so much going on this week, and I was a little isolated from it all at the convention, but even there we were able to do a small bit to help. There was a blood drive, Storm Troopers were collecting for the red cross, and a number of the guests were giving their autograph proceeds to the relief efforts.

It's good to be home, I missed you all while I was gone!

Oh! I'm so glad you're home. I was thinking about you earlier, whilst I was running between drug store, pet store, grocery store, gas station, home - wondering where you guys were on the road and hoping you got home in fine shape. I had a lovely time Saturday! It was just too short. When I got home - right at 6, thank you very much - I had to hit the ground running and haven't even had time to do anything *I* wanted to do until just now. We had ES' birthday today and there were groceries to buy and the house to clean and the cake to bake and the amp to wrap and the folks coming over and dealing with the EX and his former GF who brought him over, and the ES' cute little (first!) girlfriend and her grandmother, who is a great pal, and oh MY there was just so much happened after I left you at the Con! I'm exhausted just thinking about it.

I'm glad you had a good time, and I want to hear all about Saturday after I left and Sunday. Was such a joy meeting you and so glad we now have the face to put behind the words. :-)

I'm so glad we finally got to meet! I had a great time on Saturday. I'm going to start posting my con report, but it will have to be in segments I think, as there was a lot of stuff going on. :)

I dropped the roll of film off this afternoon, so I should have them back by the end of the week. I didn't get all that many, but there should also be a bunch of pics from other people coming in over the next few weeks that will be really cool. One in particular is a great shot of a hobbit partying with Big People, lol. :)

Well, I got through the day, anyway. The kids are all adorable and once I get to know them and I'm not entirely exhausted I'm sure I'll get around to enjoying playing with them. For the moment, I'll just try to keep them safe and sound. :)
