A Favor to Ask

I'm getting cable, yay! Sadly, it can't be installed until the 23rd, so I won't have it in time for the first episode of the new season of Lost. Is there anyone who'd be willing to tape it for me if I sent out a blank tape?

I'll most certainly tape it (I make two tapes in an abundance of caution - I've been known to mess one up so I always make sure I do two); I'll be happy to send it to you on Thursday after the show and you could have it for the weekend. Would that work? :-)

Well, I'm not getting digital this time around. I had that before I moved and it's fun, but not really necessary. All the channels I particularly care to have are on standard cable in this neck of the woods, so I'm all good to go with that. It's been a long summer without anything to watch, so I'm looking forward to being able to kick back and watch BBC America or TLC any time I want!

Welcome to the world of DSL! I have only had it a few months myself, and I love it. :) And about Lost? I don`t have a VCR, only a DVD player.

Don't worry about it, dear. Pipspebble has me covered. As for the DSL, I have that for the computer, but what I'm getting now is just standard cable for the TV. Way up here in the north country of New Hampshire, there isn't much tv reception without cable service. Of course, this allows them to feel free to jack the prices up as high as they can. But still, it's cable. :)
