Happy birthday, [livejournal.com profile] pumpkinescobar. I hope you're planning to celebrate in style (gansta style)!

Have you ever attempted yoga while two squirmy, playful, fifty pound dogs, wanting to wrestle, are trying to get you to move? It adds a whole new dimension to the activity. It's good for a laugh at least, which I suppose is nearly as good as the yoga in helping to destress.

Right, I really must attempt to eat something before heading out to work.

It's amazing how they can get you to laugh, even when you're feeling really down.

Well, I was pulled over today and considered blasting the cop with my sawed-off, but who needs that on their birthday?

Thanks! :)

The pertinent question is, were you involved in a high speed chase by the cops in an effort to not get stopped with a large variety of drugs and weapons in your car?

I've never attempted yoga with 2 50 lb dogs as companions, but I have tried both yoga and crunches with 1 28 lb dog and two 10+ lb cats as observers and participants. Rudy especially likes the Downward Dog pose because it makes my face so available for kissing. He also especially likes crunches and hip lifts, even better if I am pre-sweaty when doing them. He likes them in a manner which makes me particularly disinclined to engage in these activities when he is around.

Lol! He is neutered, isn't he? Silly dog!

Yep, he is neutered. I think perhaps the surgery just made him think that these responses are appropriate in response to all creatures that he loves. He certainly does like to show his affection this way toward me and toward the cats.

I have to admit that I have not tried yoga with a dog as a companion, I have a hard enough time maintaining some of those poses as it is!
Hope you had a good day.

Well, we weren't really doing many poses that required balance, mostly just stretching - lots of positions that brought us down close to the floor, and thus in perfect licking distance from the pooches. :)
